Electrical Engineer, Digital Logic DesignerAerotek’s client, an industry leader in the design, development, test and manufacture of high quality custom systems to meet the demanding specifications of aerospace, industrial and transit applications is looking for a candidate with 5-10+ years experience in aerospace or similar.Some of the responsibilities include: designing digital circuits for high reliability, high availability controllers, developing and reviewing system control and fault detection requirements, designing to requirements using logic state machines implemented in CPLDs or FPGAs using VHDL,assuring the design meets safety requirements using the processes of ARP4754 and RTCA/DO-254 to obtain FAA/EASA product certification and preparing process documentation covering all phases (planning, development, and test) which is defendable to the projects design assurance level.The client is looking for a self-starting candidate will work in a small team and have broad responsibility from product design through production. Good communication skills are a must. This position can be a contract or contract to hire based on preference.Requirements: BS Electrical Engineering or applicable equivalent experienceDesign of digital circuits used for a closed loop feedback control utilizing PLD’s and/or FPGAsUnderstanding of DO-254 certification process for complex electric hardware
